The College Quarterly is an academic, peer-reviewed journal published by Seneca College devoted to the examination of college and educational issues and the professional development of college educators.
Originally focused on colleges in Canada but developed to serve the common needs of college educators in North America and worldwide. CQ is a resource for teaching and learning and provides an opportunity for research publication, information about developments of significance to college educators, and commentary on policy issues of concern to the higher education community.

Cognitive scientists have been systemically studying processes such as attention, memory and learning for more than 150 years. This rich resource of knowledge has been only recently applied to developing evidence-based interventions in education. Speakers in the McMaster Conference on Education and Cognition will explore how cognitive principles can inform instructional design and critical issues in education to bridge the gap between the lab and classroom.
